So i awoke this morning early and filled with anticipation. I had read Craig's List the night before and perused the yard sale listings. Two listings had clothes and outdoor toys that were age, gender, and size appropriate for my girls and both mentioned that they were part of a community yard sale. Community yard sales can be a wonderful gold mine of yard sale items. So hopeful of the treasures i would find in clothes and outdoor toys for my girls; i loaded up the van with kids, wagon, juice, snacks and portable little girl potty. It was early but i hoped it would be worth it. We arrived just as the sale opened for business and got two things. Then we went to the second sale where i picked up some nice pajamas for my girls. With less than $10 spent i was eager to continue. It was then that i saw the signs indicating that the community sale wasn't until tomorrow. Huge bummer! We were ready for some serious yard sale shopping. We did find another community sale but it was a retirement community. They didn't have anything for little girls.
Maybe we will wake up early tommrow too. Maybe we will sleep in. Good deals or extra sleep sounds like a win/win situation to me. Hope your saturday is full of good cheer.
